COVID-19 Announcement

Dear Home of Hope Supporters, Volunteers and Community Partners,

During this time of uncertainty, we want to reassure you that we are open and continuing to serve our families in need.

Navigating these uncharted waters takes a village and a commitment of time, talents and support.  Everyday brings new challenges with quarantines in place, businesses closing, events being cancelled and more. While we do not have any known active COVID-19 cases here, we have implemented new policies to help ensure everyone’s safety. Currently, all new in-takes are spending their first 14 days in House #1. In addition, we have moved residents out of and thoroughly cleaned House #2 so that it can be used for quarantining, should the need arise. Our main building houses 10 families and so the majority of our guests are housed there during this time. We are temporarily limiting our capacity to 15 families, and we ARE taking applications for new placement.

In the meantime, Home of Hope remains a happy, positive, safe place for our children and their mothers.

We still need your help, though. Our volunteers are crucial, especially during times like these when our moms need extra help so they can continue working while their kids are home from school and daycare.

Donations are also greatly needed. When you give to Home of Hope, you help us continue our mission of helping our littlest guests – and keeping them safe during this unprecedented time. Please visit homeofhopegcs.org to donate.

Thank you, in advance, for caring about our children and their moms! We’re so grateful for your help!

Blessings,

Maureen Kornowa, Executive Director
