Get ready for the 2021 Sip & Swine BBQ Festival

Spring is on its way, and with it the 6th Annual Sip & Swine BBQ Festival!

This last year has involved its fair share of challenges, but Sip & Swine is a good time for a good cause, and we just can’t wait.

All proceeds from this event go to benefit our moms and their kids here at Home of Hope, helping provide them with hope for the future as well as practical tools and training.

Like last year, the festival will be held on Coolray Field on Friday, March 5th and Saturday, March 6th. And, as always – admission and parking are free!

For the health and safety of vendors, competitors and attendees, masks will be required in order to enter and attend this year’s Sip & Swine.

Planning to attend Sip & Swine? Here’s what to expect:

* Great food! There are contests for both pro and backyard barbeque teams, not to mention prizes within other categories like chicken, pork, desserts, and more. And for up-and-coming barbeque enthusiasts under age 16, there’s also a KidsQ competition.

* As if delicious barbeque wasn’t enough, there will be live music by local bands and food and craft vendors all weekend.

Sip & Swine was started by Jim Lloyd, a Home of Hope board member looking to combine his passion for giving back to the local community with competitive barbeque. Every year attendance grows – there were over 12,000 there last year – and we always look forward to seeing the community gather together for this event.

Hope to see you there for a fun-filled weekend! Click here to learn more about the 2021 Sip & Swine Festival.
