What’s your role at Home of Hope? And what do you love about working here?

My role is Lead Resident Advisor.  I really enjoy working with the residents at Home of Hope.  I love having brief encouraging conversations with the residents to help empower them through their current situation.

Tell us what your typical day looks like.

My day could include a number of things.  It normally begins with a team meeting with our Director of Operations and afterward maintaining oversight of all program areas.  The residential team and I would meet particular residential needs which could include: delivering dinner to the houses, providing assistance with monitoring children, providing words of encouragement to the mothers while also being a listening ear.

If you could tell people one thing about Home of Hope, what would it be?

One thing that I would like people to know about the Home of Hope staff is that we are a family away from family.  We really care about one another and this environment allows us to be our best at work and home.

What do you love to do when you’re not working?

I am a husband and father of two super kids.  We enjoy spending time together, laughing and traveling when possible.
