Say hi to Bridgette Fredrick!

Bridgette is our food service coordinator and keeps our guests well fed, ensuring mealtimes run smoothly. She’s been a big part of our team since 2009 — always willing to help out as needed  —  and she wouldn’t want to work anywhere else!

For Bridgette, food is just one way to provide hope to the families who stay at Home of Hope.

“I especially enjoy the opportunity to make a difference in a mother’s life,” Bridgette shared. “When you teach them self-love and let them know the importance of self-love, they have a better outlook on life.”

Bridgette has also seen first hand the impact that Home of Hope has on the families who stay here. She’s seen how the custom life plans — the ones that teach moms how to budget, how to parent and how to save — empower moms and give their kids hope for the future.

“Home of Hope is an awesome program and the place to be if you are serious about changing your life for the better,” Bridgette said.

When asked about her dreams for Home of Hope, Bridgette’s hope is one that is held by most of the staff here.

“My dream is for Home of Hope to serve more families,” she said.

When she’s not dishing out joy and good food, this grandmother of six grandbabies loves “being at home and not going anywhere all weekend”.

Thanks for all you do, Bridgette!
